Best Farmers Markets in Colorado Springs
You’re fiending for those homegrown veggies, fresh sourdough bread, expensive juices, and broccoli sprouts all under the hot Colorado sun, aren’t ya? Farmers market season is upon us and finding the best of the best farmers markets in Colorado Springs is no small feat. In my opinion, the Springs could reeeaaaally step up its farmers market game. But, we’ve still got some good ones to go support local at.
My Favorite Farmers Market in Colorado Springs
If I had to choose, the farmers market in Old Colorado City takes the cake. And, my favorite vendor there would have to be Springs Bagels. Best bagels by far. The OCC farmers market has been around for over 35 years and, each week, there are 24 permanent booths and a variety of temporary booths with fresh produce, home baked goods, soaps, flowers, and more. The OCC farmers market for the 2026 summer season is open every Saturday from 7:00am to 1:00pm, June 6th to October 17th. Colorado Springs Sunday Farmers Market
Heck yeah! That’s right! The Springs now has a Sunday farmers market that runs at Acacia Park in Downtown Colorado Springs. This curated community market is bringing together all kinds of locally created goodness – from handcrafted home decor and crafts to all the homegrown produce you could hope for, I’m sure you’ll meet some cool neighbors and head home with a full basket. The Acacia Park Sunday farmers market runs from May 10th to October 25th, 9:00am to 2:00pm. You can find the Sunday Colorado Springs farmers market at Acacia Park – 115 East Platte Avenue.
The Backyard Market in Black Forest, Colorado
If you’re on the hunt for a HUGE market that only allows vendors who make, grow, bake, etc. their goods, produce, and other products, then look no further than the Backyard Market in Black Forest. This farmers market is the largest producers-only market in the Colorado Springs area with over 70 vendors for you to enjoy. Straight from their website they “...host live music, have a nutritionist at the market, an educational Kids Korner, and a Young Entrepreneur program. SNAP and Colorado Produce Bonus are welcomed! WIC offered through select farmers.” This market is built on a foundation of community, wellness, and excellence being the top priority. Head on over to Black Forest for the Backyard Market any Saturday from 9:00am to 1:00pm, May 23rd to October 17th. You can find this market at 6845 Shoup Road in Black Forest, CO.

Wednesday Farmers Market in Briargate
A mid-week farmers market for when you just can’t wait for the weekend! The Briargate Wednesday farmers market has over 35 vendors and a variety of produce and goods to peruse through. Some mentioned vendors and products on their website include palisade peaches, Royal Crest Dairy, homemade bread, handmade jewelry, microgreens, mushroom dog treats, and more. You can visit the market Wednesdays from 9:00am to 2:00pm, May 27th through September 30th. You can find this market in Briargate at 7610 North Union Boulevard.
Friday Farmers Market in Woodland Park
Take a little trek on over to Woodland Park and support over 20 new vendors. On the other side of that amazing drive is family-owned farm produce, a variety of fresh local honey, a wheat berries and freshly milled flour vendor, a sourdough vendor where you can snag some bread and your own starter to bake bread at home, handcrafted hummus, and more. Other cool features of this market include themed weeks, live music, and a local growers table for backyard growers and artists to sell their produce, eggs, and other goods. The Friday market in Woodland Park runs every Friday from 8:00am to 1:00pm, June 5th to September 25th. You can find this market at 117 Center Avenue.
